From his Lebanon War Office — a small frame building still standing on the town green — Trumbull coordinated Connecticut's war effort: supplying Washington's army with food, clothing, and munitions throughout the conflict. Washington himself visited Lebanon multiple times. The Jonathan Trumbull Sr. House and War Office are Connecticut state historic sites.
