Paul Revere House

Historic House

The oldest remaining structure in downtown Boston (circa 1680). Paul Revere owned and lived here from 1770 to 1800. He departed from here on his midnight ride.

What Happened Here

Revere was a silversmith, engraver, and industrialist in addition to his famous ride. His home offers insight into colonial domestic life in the North End neighborhood.
