Schuyler House Open House and Colonial Life Programs

Schuyler House (Saratoga National Historical Park unit), Schuylerville, NY

Seasonal open house events at the reconstructed country estate of General Philip Schuyler, whose original home was burned by the British during the Saratoga Campaign. Rangers and volunteers lead tours of the house, discuss Schuyler's role in the Northern Campaign, and present demonstrations of 18th-century domestic life, foodways, and the experiences of enslaved people who lived and labored on the property.
