Battle of Stony Point Anniversary Reenactment

Annual living history reenactment of General Anthony Wayne's daring midnight bayonet assault on the British fortifications at Stony Point, July 16, 1779. The event features hundreds of costumed reenactors from Continental and British units, musket and artillery demonstrations, period camp life, sutler displays, and narrated accounts of the battle. The reenactment typically takes place on the actual battlefield terrain overlooking the Hudson River.

Stony Point Battlefield Living History Saturdays

Throughout the summer season, the Stony Point Battlefield State Historic Site hosts living history programs on select Saturdays. Costumed interpreters demonstrate aspects of 18th-century military and civilian life including musket firing, cooking, blacksmithing, and camp routines. Visitors can tour the museum, explore the battlefield trails, and learn about the strategic significance of Stony Point and King's Ferry during the American Revolution.

Independence Day Celebration at Stony Point Battlefield

Stony Point Lighthouse Open House and Heritage Day

The oldest lighthouse on the Hudson River, built in 1826 on the grounds of the Revolutionary War battlefield, opens for special heritage tours. André Captors Commemoration and Revolutionary War Walking Tour
