The Augusta Museum of History hosts periodic lectures and programs exploring Augusta's pivotal role in the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution. Topics have included the Battles of Augusta, the guerrilla war in the Georgia backcountry, Loyalist leader Thomas Brown, and the role of frontier militia under Elijah Clarke. Part of the museum's ongoing educational programming.
